Providing Excellence In Self-Storage

IMPORTANT WINTER INFORMATION

Here are some things to keep in mind when going out to your storage unit during the WINTER months:

• Do not wait until the last minute to retrieve an item from your storage unit during winter or bad weather, where there could a potential problem getting into your unit. If you need our assistance we need adequate time to do not guarantee same day service.
• Gated areas: When pressing your code into the keypad take off your gloves and press each number slowly and firmly.
• Opening door: Step down on the foot plate/push down on the door while sliding the latch over.
• When closing the door: Clear any snow or ice from the ground and sides so there isn’t any build up under or on the sides of the door.
• Changes in weather: Due to the thawing and freezing we’ve had it is a good idea to bring some salt and small chisel along to loosen up the door.
• Due to moisture from the tempter: It is a good Idea to cover furniture with blankets and or tarps and you might want to store cardboard boxes are off the ground.
• Keys breaking off in locks: It is up to you to maintain your lock. When opening your lock take your time. Moisture can build up in any lock and in winter it will freeze up. You may want to use some type of lubricant or lock deicer before trying to open your lock.

We service each location once a week and after a snow storm plow with in 24 hours with 6 inches or less of snow and 48 for more then 6" of snow. We can not guarantee that if you have a problem opening your unit that we will be out that same day. We will try and get to you within 24 to 48 hours .

Respectfully,
